Setting up a dividend schedule

A dividend schedule is for assets you added yourself — custom assets and stocks you entered with Can't find it? Add manually. You describe how the asset pays out, and Skarbfolio projects the upcoming payments.

Stocks picked from the search list don't take a schedule: their dividends come from market data automatically, so there's nothing to set up.

  1. When adding a holding, or later from Edit asset (or the asset's page under Custom), turn on Add a dividend schedule.
  2. Choose the amount — either a fixed amount per share or a % of the holding's price — and how often it's paid (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, or one-off).
  3. Set the day of month and an optional start/end date.
  4. Save.

How it's used

  • Projected payments based on this schedule show up on the Income page alongside dividends you've already recorded.
  • A projection is an estimate — it's replaced by the actual amount once you add the transaction for that payment.
  • If the payout changes or stops, update the schedule (or remove it) from Edit asset at any time.

Projections are for planning purposes and shouldn't be treated as guaranteed income.
