Help & FAQ

Editing a custom asset

Custom assets (real estate, private equity, collectibles, and anything without a public ticker) can be renamed, reclassified and revalued at any time.

  1. Go to Holdings and find the custom asset, or go to Custom.
  2. Open its menu and choose Edit asset.
  3. Update the name here, or pick a different Asset class — it's saved as soon as you tap it, and the asset moves to that class's slice in every chart and filter, history included.
  4. Click Manage prices to open the asset's dedicated page (the name and class can be changed there too).
  5. On that page, add, edit, or delete manual price points to reflect new valuations over time.

Updating a price this way doesn't create a transaction — use Add transaction if you also want the change recorded as a dated event in your history. For what each class means, see Custom assets.
