Using the MCP connector

Skarbfolio can connect to any MCP-compatible AI assistant so you can ask questions about your portfolio in natural language — "What's my net worth?", "Add a transaction", "Show my dividend income this year".

  1. Click Connect AI in the header (available on every page).
  2. Copy your personal MCP server URL.
  3. In your assistant's connector (or "apps") settings, add a custom connector and paste the URL.
  4. Approve access — you'll be brought back to Skarbfolio to sign in and confirm what it can do.

Connecting grants read access (accounts, holdings, transactions, summaries) and write access (adding/editing accounts, holdings and transactions) — you stay in control and can disconnect anytime from Settings → Integrations.
