Help & FAQ

How to archive an account

Archiving hides an account you no longer use — a closed brokerage, an old bank account — without deleting its history.

  1. Go to Holdings.
  2. Open the account's menu (⋯).
  3. Choose Archive.

Archived accounts are hidden from the main Holdings view by default. Use the Archived filter to see them again, or unarchive an account the same way.

Archive vs. delete

Archiving keeps every transaction and holding intact so your historical performance and net worth stay accurate — it just gets it out of your way. Deleting removes the data permanently and can't be undone, so archiving is the recommended way to retire an account.
